Memorandum

Since Sati. Saturday the 15th Instant, it has been prevalent in Canton that on that day the Assassin of the Chief of the Mucie (Governor of ...) had been executed with eighteen other criminals at the Execution Ground. The official Reporter of that day merely stated that "sundry bandits of the King ying like, and districts, the districts which are the seat of the insurrection, have been executed after the authority had been issued by the General Governor and the Governor.
